Coiled tubing service providers constantly deal with a moving target in terms of meeting their customers’ demands. The market seems to steadily demand its service providers to equip themselves with larger pipe capacities. Equipment purchased a few years ago to handle 2” pipe is likely now obsolete for use with 2-3/8”, or 2-5/8” coiled tubing. Companies are now faced with situations where they must decide between purchasing a very expensive coiled tubing unit in its entirety, or they can often times purchase just a single component of the unit, a larger reel trailer.  

Gus Fab has extensive knowledge & expertise in supporting the reel trailer option.  We have a long history of meeting with customers to discuss desired specifications, studying their existing equipment, engineer/design accordingly, then manufacturing a high quality cost saving option providing our customers expanded capabilities.  

Gus Fab’s company structure allows for flexibility in custom designs, which is often necessary when mating a new reel trailer to existing equipment built by a variety of manufacturers. A direct drive system, a unique reel-lift system allowing for additional roading height to get into otherwise inaccessible locations, have proven to be vital components to our customers.
